To those like me who are doing the decent thing and waiting for the announcement, how are you spending the time? Me, I'm explaining to my daughter why she can't use the computer to talk to her friends for the next 2 years, and to my wife why she isn't going to see me........her reply:"What did you say your name was again?" This after 19 years of marriage....then again, I've been married to wargames since 1976.

I'm just hoping I never have to be in a place where my life depends on my fellow man. (I can't wait another 15 minutes. [:(] I'm weak. [:-]) For crying out loud. Of course, if they get theirs and somehow we don't, boy will I be pissed. I am curious though: if some have already downloaded their version, how come Matrix hasn't been able to do their download test?

I thought it was the users who spontaneously combust.....like I might if I can't DD soon...............................only joking;it'll be worth the wait, and anyway I estimate my DL will finish about 4a.m. so another few minutes won't matter. Question is, do I squeeze in a turn before breakfast and a day at work?

Have to work 'till 6:00 CDT then quick bite to eat then a two hour board meeting at 6:30. Home by about 9:00 tonight. Should know if everything is OK by then and officially announced.

I hope that they get them all up and running soon so that the US server isn't flooded with other regions. Let everyone get good download speeds. BTW, is Digital River the only game in town when it comes to mass downloads for purchase? Do they have any decent competitors?

If they are the monopoly I guess they don't really have to worry about small irritants for the game companies. I mean things like keeping the game hidden until it is "officially released." Probably more of a hassle for DR than it is worth.
