kgsan -> Order Question (7/1/2004 11:32:53 PM)

I have a basic question about ordering once we get the green light. If we choose "CD On Demand," do we still get the option to make an immediate digital download or have we committed to CD only? (If we get both, how much extra does it cost for the CD delivery option?) Also I thought I saw somewhere else on the board comments about having to wait until August for mailouts. Was this referring to all CD orders or something else.

Apologies for simple minded question, but want to make sure that if I choose the CD option I am not condemning myself to waiting an additional month to get the game.

You can have the CD on demand for $10 IIRC over the DD only option.
You do not get a boxed CD, just a plain CD.
For the Boxed CD you have to wait until August.
Hope this helps

I'm about to post an FAQ for everybody, since there definitely seems to be some confusion on these issues.

I could be wrong, but as far as I understand it, you are paying 69.99 for the digital download, and another 9.99 for the CD on Demand, so you get DD either way you go.

Thanks for the quick response guys. I'm impressed with the Matrix staff's ability to keep nearly instantaneous pace with questions sprouting up in the large number of anticipatory threads while at the same time moving forward on finalizing the release.
