On several occasions now (playing scenario 15), Dutch and American subs have engaged Japanese transports with their guns, on no occasions have I seen the Japanese return fire. Has anyone witnessed transports making use of their guns against surfaced subs?

Hello... Your captains and/or crews failed skill/experience rolls and did not fire. Happens. Bye... An emphatic YES...those transports DO fire back...got a couple subs on the way back with damage now as a result. One Dutch boat just about got sunk by an AK. Not as bad as my low point in UV, when a sub was sunk by a............barge.[sm=nono.gif]

You guys should throw it onto the combat report! I love seeing how that stuff works and it really helps me get a personal attachment (or in this case disgust) to some units.

Thanks for all of the answers. I'll keep plugging away at those Jap transports and see if they start shooting back.
