Hi all, I've been messing around with the editor -- considering trying to update the Manchuria scenario to reflect the historical leaders of August Storm. Two questions:

1. Are there any good guidelines for setting the leader's numerical ratings?

2. How does one assign a leader to a specific HQ? I've figured out how to create a leader to represent Vasilevsky, but I can't figure out how to put him in command of Far East Command.

Take the following with a grain of salt as I've never seen detailed explanations about this area.

1. If you're focusing on leaders for land units, I'd just concern yourself with a leader's rating in Land Combat, Administration, Political Value and Inspiration. Admin skills help maintain the unit, Political Value is based on the size of the formation (normally) and Inspiration helps with Morale.

Treat a rating of 50 as average and 80+ as exceptional. Probably a good idea to see how the game already represents existing historical leaders (that you know of) in the game and use that as a guide.

2. To assign a leader to a unit in the editor, you change the leader entry in the Locations section (ie go to the unit entry not the leader entry).

Thanks very much for the reply, I'll work from there.
