I have been playing UV for a while now and i`m really looking forward to WITP.(after pay day that is)

A couple of questions to those who are playing already.

a) is it possible not to attack pearl harbour on turn 1.

b) does it make any sense not to and wait to attack American capitol ships in deep water (or at least far enough away from a base to make the float damage count).

mark.

I guess you'll just have to try it[;)]

You have to counter that against the easier to hit docked target + weak AA on turn 1 morning.

Up to you.

Why wouldn't you? Would be my question. What other juicy targets can you have at with little or no loss to you?

Like Kaleun said "I guess you'll just have to try that", let us know the outcome. [:)]

1) Yes, if you select non-historical first turn. (which skips the orders phase and goes straight to the combat phase

2) I wouldn't recommend it.

This is how, as the Allied player, you get the Jap AI not to attack PH: Pull every last ship out of the port (of course, you have to have the surprise and historical first day turned OFF). I had a grand total of 8 Zekes show up against all my CAP. They did pretty well actually (the Zekes), but the bombers didn't even strike the port or airfield! [X(]
