cave_45 -> Russian Scenario - ships. (7/12/2004 4:14:43 PM)

I don't know if anyone else has reported this, or found this... But playing the Russian only scenario I found that at the end of the first turn the russians recieved about 10 or so ships, mostly MSW's. However I found that the appeared at the Russian base located in the top centre of the map (a base that is completely land locked).

I have not been wit my machine recently, and have not run the scenario again to see if this always occurs.

I had the reinforcements set as standard, and start as standard, AI difficulty to historical.

Maybe something that needs addressing in the future???

I can't really say, but my guess it has something to do with the automatic replacement of MSWs as they get sunk. WitP replaces MSW if the number gets too low. I'd expect that this glitch is related to that. Since there is no Allied navy, and thus no MSWs, it automatically bumps the number up to the minimum, and puts them with the main HQ. Frankly, I was -really- hoping that it would plunk down some Essex class CVs, since these are part of the auto-replacement routine also. But no such luck.

Gawd, that would have been hilarious.
