Bradock78436 -> Oops (1/9/2002 2:00:00 PM)

Somehow I managed to delete the first scen in the 'Long road to victory' campaign. Can someone tell me what it is? The one before marroco.

While we are on the subject of oops... I was looking at the scenrio editor and while experimenting I accidently deleted the first scenario; now it won't let me buy a core unit for the campaign. I hate when that happens. Is there a simple fix?

After installing update take a backup of 'Maps'/'Scen'/ and 'Campaigns' -folders. Zip and hide them. And when next time 'oops' happens you can restore them without installing whole game... So there is not a simple fix First battle? Of what campaign? is it also from 'Long, long road to victory' ? I can send them to you, just confirm what you don't have mosh

I'm sorry this took so long to get back to... Life got in the way, but I was finally able to sit down and look at it again. Part of the problem was the original action was fairly random -- I wanted to look at the editor and didn't pay attention when I selected the campaign. The campaign is Stalingrad. What has happened is that the first slot for scenarios is empty. I start the campaign, go to the buy screen to set up the core unit and there is no list of units. My guess is that -- since the slot is empty -- it is using a null string as a data set for the date; the database (list of units) can't quantify the lack of date and so nothing is available. I would think that all it would take was putting the first scenario back into the list and everything else would fix. If anyone knows which one and the steps to follow to reconstruct this I would be very happy. I have the directions for designing scenarios and campaigns (Scenario Design 101 by Wild Bill)downloaded, but I'm not sure if putting a scenario at the beginning of an existing list is covered (at least I didn't see it.) Thanks in advance for any help in this matter.
