OK, why not call it Humphrey?

Jack Shelak -> RE: Name This...(126) (7/16/2004 6:27:26 AM)

Obviousy a Sherman tank variant...

I'll guess a late production model M4A3?

Sorry not really much of a joke, but it is 4:45 am and the baby is teething[:@]

tiredoftryingnames -> RE: Name This...(126) (7/16/2004 1:42:06 PM)

A box. A box about to be a flat box.

Belisarius -> RE: Name This...(126) (7/16/2004 2:19:40 PM)

Hard to tell with that poor-ass resolution pic. Looks like an M4A3 but could be a FT for all I know.

Is that a trailer behind, or another M4? Not much of a differnce either way! [:'(]

Indeed, poor resolution. If it is a trailer on that picture then it is a M4 crocodile.

PeteG662 -> RE: Name This...(126) (7/16/2004 3:12:55 PM)

No...A croc would have an extra barrel alongside the main gun.

Brady -> RE: Name This...(126) (7/16/2004 11:43:37 PM)

It is, M4A1.

afspret -> RE: Name This...(126) (7/17/2004 12:00:04 PM)

Lead tank is a Sherman and I'm going out on a limb and say the trailing vehicle is either a M3 or M5 light tank. Judging from the terrain they a could possibly be in the PI or on Okinawa, but could also just as easily be on Siapan or Guam.
