pfnognoff -> Summer vacation - minimum sys requrements (7/16/2004 8:59:37 AM)

One happy new owner (me) of the greatest game in the world (WiTP) is going on a summer holidays.

I have an old PC system there that I plan to use to help me get into this game, read the manual, browse through the basics, examine fleets and run an occasional turn against the AI.

It's a Cel II 466 Mhz, 128MB RAM, 32MB video, etc... will this be enough to at least crawl through the turn resolution? I have read in the "Minimum requirements" thread that the minimum is 800 Mhz but that it will walk through the turn even on the 500Mhz, so I should be also OK to crawl through, but I want to be sure.

Since the chip is a Celeron II and min reqs are based on Pentium II chips , this can get really slow I would guess. You could be able to run it, but I really canīt promise you anything here. It might be that the AI turns take really long to process.
