Carier Aircraft:0 on TF screen question (Full Version)

On my TF screen, for air TF's I'm seeing carrier aircraft:0

but my TF is launching air attacks.

And if I click on it, it shows that I have aircraft available.

Am I reading the manual correctly?

Doesn't it mean that I should have no aircraft available?

If not, what exactly does this number mean?

No this is an air combat task force. That number according to the manual, page 66 middle of the page is supposed to mean the number of carier aircraft currently available. I had been using it as a quick monitor of when I need to send my TF's back to re-supply (replenish at sea doesn't seem to change it).

But then I noticed that a TF that had that at 0 was still launching sorties! How is that possible?

Anyone else seeing this?
