chief -> Turns count problem in 8.2 (7/18/2004 7:38:35 AM)

While I was testing Redlegs latest it seem that I had played many more turns than was indicated when it came to save (turn 8 saved). When I retrieved save and checked the weather block in showed turn 7 was ready, a quick check of the board/battlefield showed it was in the end of turn 8 condition. I cancelled the game and cleared the steel.prf file. I then restarted as the opposite side and after three turns I saved, saved game showed turn 3 saved. When I reopened game, saved game still showed 3 saved, but when game opened the weather block showed turn 2 being played. Checked the battlefield and everything was in turn 3 condition.

Figured I better check another Generated Scenario for stuff and giggles,
Used Flashfyres latest, during the game I saved 3 times to see how many turns I would get (I wasn't playing the game just positioning units) I got 23 complete turns and indication of 20.

At this time I got the sneaking suspision that I could have played 2 turns saved, repeated turn 1 forever. Thats not right.

I checked an on going MC and it seems OK, problem seems to be in the generated scenarios.

Anyone else run into this ??????

To add more fuel to previous post.[&:]

Tried a canned scenario, 012 by WBW, and played 4 turns, saved, left game. Returned to game, opened auto save turn 4, checked count in upper right hand corner, Turn 3of? shown and battlefield in the turn 4 position.[:@]
I don't think this is good. Am I the only one who's having this problem ?
Or am I the only one who fell on it ? [8|] Info: Fresh/new steel.prf file.[:-]

MY apologies and thanks to Fradar for putting me back on the 'bien rue'[sm=bow.gif]
