Hello,

what means SRS at an airfield and port capacity info screen?
They say that word in the manual.

Need some help here. What page of the manual is it used on?

PeteG662 -> RE: SRS? (7/23/2004 5:11:36 PM)

Its in regards to size of port/airfield.......

MarkD34 -> RE: SRS? (7/23/2004 5:16:49 PM)

It's on page 158(161 if going by acrobat page) of the manual and its a misprint.It should read SPS which is short for standard potential size.

Arkady -> RE: SRS? (7/23/2004 5:18:45 PM)

manual page 158 (Acrobat Reader p. 161) down

it is a typo I think, should be SPS = Standard Potential Size , see page 162 (Acrobat 165), section 9.2.1.6. Base Consumption

or can be different name ( ? SRS = Standard Reach Size ?) for this value ?

Page 8 of the Tutorial. If you have not gone through the tutorial, I recommend you at least read the blue and red text. They contain a lot of need to know information.

Note: If you expand a port or airfield beyond its maximum size it will take longer and
cost more. For example, a Port has a current Port capacity of 3(8). It will cost the
normal amount of supplies and time to build it up to size 8. The cost of building from
size 8 to nine will be more. The +3 rule does not mean you can build to size 11. It is
used to limit smaller bases. For example, a Port has a current Port capacity of 1(3).
You can expand to size 3 at normal rates and from 4 to 6 at the higher rate.

Oh, I thought it was describing a camp where the Japanese turned allied prisoners of war into comfort girls.[sm=00000116.gif]
