as if WitP wasn't enough!![:'(]


ive decided to buy this game, so i went searching into game, finding out the game was only worth a tenner!! (£10) i was rather happy,

but now i cant find this game anywhere!, theres noway in hell im gonna buy this game off the matrix shop cause im not dishing out £35 on a game i can get at the shops for £10

does anyone know where i can get this game?

thanks Nessaja, but its still a high price!

ive phoned every shop in livingston, edinburgh and even glasgow,

but im not dishing out £30 and above on this game, i guess this just means that i wont be getting this game [:(]

You can play UV-scenarios in WITP and the game is better. You will lose details as hexes are twice bigger but overall playing "UV campain" in WITP is perfectly possible in WITP.

but im seriously considering buying the game from justplaynow.com...i reliesed that their price is also £25, and there based in england, so hopefully if i was too order it wouldn't take too long to arrive!

but if not ive still got WitP to look forward too![:'(]

Yep i enjoy playing both...i enjoy loading up UV and playing just as relaxation to the scale of WitP.

theres only one down side!, its obvious that my WitP isn't going to arrive for a few more weeks, while i expect to recieve UV in a few days!, the bad point is that i wont have any pratice for PBM!!!, now that it seems that no one plays UV PBM's anymore!

For anyone else in the UK, I got 3 copies of UV from GAME, first was £19.99, 2nd was £9.99 and the 3rd last Xmas time was £4.99 on clearance. Might be worth a try if they still have stock.

GAME was the first thing i tried i phone all five GAMES in Edinburgh, two in glasgow and two in livingston none of them had any UV's!!

Buy it and pay the full price. The game is worth it. Matrix is a small company that deserves to get paid for it's efforts. It is not like you are dealing with Microsoft, where they can dump a product on the market for a deep discount when the appeal has worn off.

You have to understand that Matrix has a very small profit margin and unlike large game companies, continues to support and upgrade its games for a long time. For that effort, you should quit bitching about discounts and be glad to pay the full price. Quality does not come free.
I got a closet full of pretty unsupported dogs that I have bought in years past. (Microprose, SSI and so on) Got no problems with Matrix products.
