Primal Fury -> Hotkey [1] (8/1/2004 5:58:43 AM)

Sorry if I am being thick, but what does the hex text mean when hotkey 1 is used?

Eg Oa, Cw, Cm, Lm, Cc, etc. ?

I don't see it in the manual anywhere...thanks.

DrewMatrix -> RE: Hotkey [1] (8/1/2004 7:08:40 AM)

The terrain type. Look at the Hotkey page (Page 13)

Primal Fury -> RE: Hotkey [1] (8/1/2004 7:16:13 AM)

Yes, but, for example, what is Oa and what is Cc and Lw and Lm?

Thanks.

Mr.Frag -> RE: Hotkey [1] (8/1/2004 7:27:17 AM)

First letter = Ocean, Coast, Land, second letter is terrain

Primal Fury -> RE: Hotkey [1] (8/1/2004 7:34:35 AM)

Ok, thanks.

So Cw is Costal woods? and Cm would be costal mountains? Oa would be ocean but I don't know what "a" is. I'm not sure what Cc is either.

I know this seems like a dumb question but it is not actually documented anywhere.

Can't remember them all, but look at the two types of O? One is deep water, one is shallow.

Btw: Congrats on making it to page 13 of the manual. You seem to be one of the few to even notice there ARE hotkeys [:D]

coralsaw -> RE: Hotkey [1] (8/1/2004 6:04:35 PM)

It would be nice to have a list of all those 2-letter combinations, if anyone knows. I have already assumed that Oa is for ocean and Ow for shallow water (or the other way around?) [:'(]

I use the hotkey for hex side details all the time...Hex side details really junk up the map but they are needed frequently IMO.

Hey, I thought reading the manual is optional for Gary Grigsby games! [8|]
