john g: That would explain it then. I 'thought' when I first started playing the demo it wasn't losing ammo when the clip was replaced. What's made me think the loss of a clip loses the ammo in it, was that I thought (later) the ammo amount on the far right was a total, and apparently it's the amount of ammo besides what's in the clip. Reload the clip and the far right amount gets smaller, therefore in my mind looking as though the 'total' of all rounds went down. I haven't FPS'd since Doom II, so I'm not the quite used to that genre's new ways.
