Just a thought for the 2by3 guys, what about trying to incorporate a multiplayer PBEM/ facilitation website? I assume the coding wouldn't be horrific. We have similiar websites for the popular WWII flight sims (IL-2 FB: Virtual Eastern Front).

I imagine something along the lines of a website dedicated to a series of games, where opposing groups of players can each take control of individual zones, and submit turns, when one group is done it is submitted as a complete turn and the other group has thier chance. A supreme commander could be identified who could assume the control of a player and complete movement for them as required (or the computer could be activated to complete a turn if not sumbitted in required time frame (as decided upon by other players).

I think this would really improve the enjoyment/immersion level of the game. Imagine the forum fueds between various zone commanders responsible for achieving certain tasks.

I'm sorry if this has been mentioned previously elsewhere.

While I'm thiking of it, the website/server might also have the capacity to not only facilitate turns for groups of people, it might also save turn information. Therefore, players can log on, and process thier part of a turn, and the website/server can process the turn, and a display the status of players orders. There might even be a coutdown function for the automatic use of a computer generated move if a turn isn't submitted in time.

What do you reckon?
