No sound in 8.2

I get no sound in SPWAW 8.2 after installation. The music plays fine during the opening credits but the game goes silent when you get to the main game screen. I have a Sound Blaster Live card and 512 MB of memory and am running Windows XP Professional. If this issue has already been addresed, please point me to the solution.

I had this problem too. Check your SND directory. The sound files may be enclosed in a zip archive. Extract the zip archive and all will be fixed.
