I am playing with patch 1.21. The manual say that as airfields increase in size, the number of aviation support at that base increases accordingly.

I have nearly 700 aviation support units in my replacement pool. Many base units which have never moved and have enlarged their bases have not recieved the corresponding increase in aviation support. Many of these bases have 30,000+ supply.

I know this same feature existed in Uncommon Valor, so I saw the process in effect.

What gives in WITP? Am I doing something wrong?

P.S. Could the developers put a line of data on base units listing what base they are assigned too. When you have more than one unit at a base, knowing which unit is the host unit would help.

Only computer player base units will grow with the base in size, It is an AI Cheat... Units under human control will only build up to its TOE and that is all.

Think it was the same in UV. The manual said differently but the final verdict from 2by3 (Mike Wood I think it was?) was that it was just the computer units.

It was both at one time. It was set to computer only for good reasons. [;)]
