I have noticed that bridges over water are difficult to traverse in scenarios I have built. It seems that when moving along the road into hexes that cross the waterline (the actual bridgeheads), the movement penalty is not that for road movement but for movement through shallow water. Bridge hexes that are completely over water present no problem. Does anyone know how to avoid this?

I also mentioned about this in the past and the only thing that has changed (..V7.0+) is that vehicles donīt "flood-out/stuck" anymore at bridges on shallow water hexes.
The shallow water movement points are still expended though,..donīt know why!
Can only be fixed in the Mech.exe code. Abstracting this a little bit, would be to assume vehicles to slow down considerably while entering any bridges....Ok, was just a try! ________-

That is how I rationalized this phenom. A traffic jam at the entrance to the bridge. LOL Odd, how that works.... doesn't work. LOL
