Sorry, n00b here.

I saved in the middle of my 1rst Japanese orders phase for the tutorial (Hotseat setting), and now when I reload the save the Allies are up. Does saving end your orders phase? Because I can't imagine how you could play this game if it does.

Or is there something I'm missing about how to get back to the Japanese orders screen. Thanks.

check the main screen, it say's Japanese Computer. Select Allies computer, then load your game. That should clear up the problem.

Yep, I switched it to Hotseat instead of Allied computer as you suggested, but that cleared up my problem alright. And all my TF's and missions were still there.

Thanks doktor, I don't think I would have figured that out myself. I would have thought the game parameters would be set in the save file itself.
