Kevin E. Duguay -> Improvements (8/20/2004 6:04:55 AM)

Dear SPWaW fans,

I'm trying to create more historical rifle grenade weaponds for the game. The main problem is that weapons slot 93 is HARD coded. In this slot the weapon is almost useless. My thought is to keep this as the standard weapon and put the other weapons in other slots. The weapons in these other slots will have lesser HE equivelents and much less HE pen. The reason for this is that a HE grenade fired from a grenade launcher tendes to ignight either above ground (air blast) or hit a armored target and bounce off. I want to give the Nations that have HEAT rifle grenades a 222 code so they can be supplied with HEAT ammo by design.

I need input.

Ammosgt, You asked me about some of these things and about artillery, do you have any info on this? If you do please send me a PEM HERE.

It would be a lot of help to resolve some issues that I and others have.

Thank you and others that respond in advance!! [:)]

Im trying to find out.
I know there was but one proto type made for su37
but I cant find anything on su45.

Kevin, which charts are u useing for the rifle grenades, and what catigory is a rifle grenade classed? I'm asking because u can probablely swap either american bazzoka or british PAIT lancher stats to calculate a reasonable rang/penitration/HE values??.
And am very interested in the story that led to your interest in altering or creating whatsounds like a priority order for the use of rifle grenades and their effects, It's often pissed me off that the shaped charge of the american rifle grenade is given no more merrit then the birtish Millsbomb cup type projector, and much less than the british 2in. morter. I like studying stuff like this, and I know the morter wasn't as big a hitter.
Maybe if the round fell into the back of a loaded halftrack?!!?
