woah ,Brady, you are posting "name this" posts in this forum too?...how're the things around at AH's boards? :)

My bet would be a Ki-67's dorsal turret, but I don't really know...

Raverdave -> RE: Name This...(164) (9/8/2004 6:01:59 AM)

Upper turret of the Hampton bomber.

Brady -> RE: Name This...(164) (9/8/2004 6:02:55 AM)

Hey RAM[:)], Small planet huh[:)], I post "Name This" on Three Forums, this is just Pacific War related Matrerial though. Kinda Slow on the AH threads I only do the Name this and check in with old Squadies from time to time, most of my time is spent with WiTP now days, Kinda Burnt on AH, maybe if they finialy get some new planes going I may actualy fly it again.

Belisarius -> RE: Name This...(164) (9/8/2004 12:28:14 PM)

Ki-67 "Peggy" dorsal turret.

Hey Brady, isn't that what you've got in your sig too? Or a Betty? The perspective makes it kinda hard to tell.

jrcar -> RE: Name This...(164) (9/8/2004 2:01:02 PM)

Yep KI-67. the shape of the radio? aerial on the roof shook me, usually seen on Allied aircraft.

Cheers

Rob

Clipper1968 -> RE: Name This...(164) (9/8/2004 2:02:23 PM)

Mitsubishi Ki-67 Hiryu.[:)]

what is AH ???

A massive-online WW2 air simulation. If you've ever heard of Warbirds, it's the same but with better flight models and much better overall quality as air simulator (IMHO, as there will be people who will say otherwise).

More info at www.hitechcreations.com .

Please excuse the crudeness of this:

A: DF Loop.

B: 20mm Ho-5 Dorsal Turet

C: Surface Search Radar.

...............

IMHO: In My Humbel Openion

....................

AH Is Realy the Best thing going as far as an Online Fligh sim, WW2 Online Is Now whear near as good in this regard, though I have a lot of time in both simes AH does this better, of course WW2 online has more to offer. IL-2 is a Better Flight Sim though, though not a Massive Multiplayer one. IMHO[:)]

"In my humble opinion"

Seriously, I was on the net for years before I got the nerve to ask what "LOL"meant. Did not want to sound like a total poltroon.

To avoid embarrassment, just log on Google, type in the abbreviation and hit search. It almost always comes up with the acronym, along with more info about its source than you will ever probably need. [:)]

Why embarrassed... the one who does that he knows will be more embarrassed if you ask him[;)]

But thanks for the tip.
