Don't know if it was already addressed.

I'm playing 16 scenario as Allies. Japanese starded to invade Solomons by landing LCU at Shortlands. Now it is more that a week when japanese LCU keep hanging around the base without any allies presence. Is it because of difficulty settings (historical)?

I have had the same thing happen. Playing as the Allies against Historical level Japan AI. Japanese troops landed, shot up a bombardment task force I sent, but never captured the base. Eventually I sent a transport with an LCU there and the Japanese troops were gone.
