is there any other way to get around the invalid cd key problem other than installing the 1.20 patch? i dont wana download another megafile!

The number written on the CD is not the serial number. You can find it in the confirmation order emailed to you by DR when you have purchased WitP.

ya i got the right serial number but the problem persists. i just dont wana dload d patch if there is another way to go about it

i tried installing the game on a computer with windows xp and it worked however i run win98se on my computer and i get the invalid cd key problem. so i know my s. n. is indeed correct

I don't know as I run WitP with XP without no problem.Let me try to install WitP on my partition which is running under Win 98 SE.

Everything is also working perfectly on my Win98 SE partition. So I don't know what your problem is!Hope someone else can help you to resolve your problem.
