I have japanese tankers trying to load oil from manchuria and they don't load it. Am I missing something?

Check these things:

1) Is the port/zone (not the ship/TF) on computer control? If it is, it will cancel the load order for the ship.

2) Do you have more than one task force trying to load? My experience has been that only one will load at a time when it comes to oil.

Just some problems/solutions I have encountered. Hope it helps.

You may be missing, umm.....oil! I sure don't see any there in my game. I mean, sure, there is oil production, but there is also lots of HI; Manchuko is surely not a net exporter of oil...? What scenario are you playing? What port? What kind of TF?

I have had this trouble also. Check the captain's rating. Mine had 30/29. I sent him baxk to Osaka and sent another tanker with a captain who had higher ratings (38/42 IIRC) and he saw that the oil got loaded before his ship left port.

As stated above, check for oil. I have had trouble getting ships to load oil if there was not enough oil for a full load.
