Les's posts are usually mixed and contain some contradictions anyway, so chosing one of the multiple options available was IMHO fine. Usually if you say one thing, then realise it's wrong, you would erase the original, either during writing or editing. It's not unreasonable to question something in a post such as that, as HTTR was stuck in the list of games which proved some point.
