Chaplain -> P-thingie sent to Matrix last Friday? (10/19/2004 7:05:27 PM)

That's what we heard, anyway; that the p-thing-of-which-we-do-not-speak was sent intact from the testers to Matrix on Friday. As everyone knows, most of us are waiting for it to start/continue games. If it's all done ... what are we waiting for? [:)]

Someone said they and us have to wait on Digital River to get the download up.

It looks like Matrix got the final patch version late on Friday, and they have to wait for Digital River on Monday. I don't think we'll see it until Tue or Wed.

I doubt that a patch has something to do with DR.

DR comes into play only when the whole game will be purchased and when Matrix wants to release a new full version.( i.e. you purchase and get already the game in 1.3 )

Matrix can just put up the patch on a ftp server which has nothing to do with DR. ( they did it with the sound patch as well )

all needed to be done is to write an installer and test it and make sure that it doesnt ruin the whole installation. I think there are still some issues found ( read Mr Frags post ) and therefore we have to stay put.

Patch? Sent to Digital River??? Do I hear the cursed D word accompanied with R word?

Relax, and start several PBEM grand campaigns. By the time you get your first atomic bomb patch may (may!) actually be downloadable and usable.

O.

Why, is the patch not open for free download? Secure?
The last patch was on a free patch-site at 08/02/04, one day after the offiziel release!

Please give the patch free!!!!!!

The patch was sent to Matrix and they made two install packages. We tested the packages out and found a few problem that we have to get ironed out.[:(]
