Server Connection Probs for 1.3 (Full Version)

I keep getting the following error message everytime I've downloaded aproximately 48% of the 1.3 patch :-

Server connection has run out of time ( or something similar )

Connection to server has been reset

Any clues to what I'm doing wrong??

I don't think you are doing anything wrong. I was also consistently getting that same error when trying to download thru the Members section. Latest thought is that it is related to an earlier router problem. Try to download the patch thru the Downloads section, I was able to do so there.

This is crap, Ive tried 5 times to download (onto a computer not my own as I have no E mail on it ) and have never got past 14 percent.
Imgetting to the stage where Im going to offer someone in Aus money for a disc with the patch.
By the way, 3 guys in my office were going to buy this game, a few browsings of the difficulty of even getting it,..... you can guess.
Shame, they were very excited too

GREAT GAME MATRIX, i LOVE IT, time to get a new distributor.[:@]

Try dtravels suggestion, it certainly sorted my problem out!!!!

Are you talking about downloading the patch or downloading the complete game?

We have made the experience that for some reason connections from Australia are sometimes pretty unreliable. This is not something we can fix since it is not in our hands. A former cooworker of us (from AUS) had quite a few times connection problems and he sayed they´re related to the rather bad cables.

Well I got it. members section is no go, but I tried the download area and got it
Thanks for the concern mark, just needed the patch.
Truly though the members area does have some problems, it may just be us aussies though.

Now to install it, get e mail working and thrash wobbly

Do really think you would get more sales if a disc was available here in Aust like it was for UV

The problem with the server connection resetting is NOT limited to Australian connections. I live near San Francisco, California and consistently got resets.

I've already had a moan about this topic when I had great difficulty trying to get my hands on it. Marc was very helpful and made me persevere after I nearly gave up. I think Matrix is being advised by the wrong 'suits', although I have'nt a clue about business.[8D]

I could download the incremental patch on the Members section but had problems with the full patch and ended up getting it through the Download just fine. Other people did too.
