After the battle of Granicus I have got several cavalry units which had only one remaining stand.Once I have entered the replacement screen I have been obliged to replaced the two stands for this concerning units.
I would like to know how is this possible as I initially thought I would have needed to replace only one stand for all those units sparing this amount for different purpose?How could I proceed to know the exact number of men remaining in the unit as it appears to me that it is not related to the last stand but the number of soldiers still alive in this last stand?
If the number of men is under 200 you have to replace both stands?Am I correct or did I mess up something?[&:]

Pumba,

You only need to replace full stands that had been eliminated. Are you sure that the units that survived required you to buy both stands? (Check commander names and make sure these aren't new units that have been added in as reinforcements.)

I am quite sure that at least it has happened to one of my 5 initial cavalry units;I know that the others cavalry units which need to be recompleted for the both stands are reinforcements units.I am going to try to duplicate that if I am right as I don't remember if I have still got this save and let you know.
Could it be the fact that one of my cavalry unit was in routed status affects this result???[&:]

Please do double-check this. As long as you have at least 1 step of health left on a unit, it should come back on the OOB screen with the initial stand already full.

No, their morale level at the end of the level should have no impact. (This will also be restored to "good" automatically.)
