I´m playing Scen 15 as Japanese and there´s significant research for several plane types (Ki44 has 29 and D4Y has 26), but the Avail date hasn´t changed yet. I read in the manual that the avail date moves up a month for every 100 reseatch points, so I assume the research points somehow don´t get produced. Is there any way to verify this?

I managed to get the D4Y a month early, so it works. I would be willing to bet that it works somewhat like BTR. That would mean GG probably has a few hidden roadblocks built in there. More than likely, after you produce 100 rd points for that a/c type, then there is a dice roll to see if the a/c is advanced by a month. Fail the dice roll and it does not advance the availability date, pass the dice roll and presto you advance the date. My guess anyway.
