Wake up at 9am sharp. Cook coffee. Read the papers. Watch the news on BBC. Scratch the cats.

Take out all the necessary equipment. Position myself as comforable as possible.

Well, I'm sitting in an Indiana University computer lab at the moment and just 20 feet away is an HP Color Plotter that can print 36 inch by however long you want it. Producing a poster sized map would be quite easy (and cost $10). One can also do this at places like Kinko's (but they charge an arm and a leg).

I was born like with it? [:D]

Honestly: I went to a repro-company with the picture as a 4Mb .JPEG and asked how big can they make it.

Cost me 30€ including the back thingy that's not cardboard but some stuff the studios use. Lightweight and very durable.
