Before I moved to this home 4 years ago,I had a monster game called "Streets of Stalingrad",which was VERY well researched....I miss it greatly,and Jess,my friend,your excellent maps look like they capture the feel of that old game!!.Great work,Jess!!!!!

Hi Jess, It looks like a great campaign! I have so far only played the first scenario (lost B1 but still a DV, it was a lot of fun [8D]), but I have two remarks: - The engineer platoon with MG will only work with Tru Troop cost off (I remark this because there were some misunderstandings when I created a Czech campaign where the player should buy exactly 4 tanks - in that case, those who had "True Troop off" were unable to do so [X(]) - are the campaign result scores correct? 200/300 for MV/DV? RolandRahn, Yes, True troop should be turned off, thanks for making that clear. [:D] and, no, no Tigers at Stalingrad....I refer all Germans as Kats. might be a MkII..to me its still a Kat. How goes the Camp ??

This has proved to be a great online community, and PBEM has been a blast. I like the small unit forces and maps immensely. I play this campaign Iron Man sytle (ie. no saves!) and the scenarios have a great replay value. While I can consistently get a Decisive Victory on the first scenario, it's always an interesting battle to play and the DV win IMO is not guaranteed. I think I got a MV the first time I played it. Last time I played it - the AI popped off my AO unit with 50mm mortar fire, and now I gotta start the campaign over again. Thank you very much Jess! I've peeked at Scenario 3's deployment, and I know it will be a slugfest ... but because these are short, intense, well written battles, I'm actually looking forward to it. Couldn't find the actual link to the download on spwaw.com . . . ? - later - now I see it. Maybe I had be logged in to see it . . .? Can't wait to play it. I'm reading Antony Beevor's book right now. I logged in to find out if anyone had a Stanigrad map, and what do I find? A whole damn scenario. Wicked. Does anyone have a single, big Stalingrad map?
