How about - houserules

1: sub doctrine off
2: FOW
3: Variable weather
4: Variable replacements +_ 60
5: Variable start - historic first move
6: Surprise on
7: Allied repair on

IJN Carriers must retire from Pear and move past north MIdway before going elsewhere.
US carriers cannot be used offensively for first week.
