There was at least one attack off PM, 3 MSWs nail my sub in their first try... I can live with the number of detections they get, that's fine... the attack is foiled... I think they get to sink the Jap sub well too easily... so I really like the idea of increasing armor to simulate multiple attacks and a degree of success from those attacks... some subs did escape even after they were found ... it very rarely happens now...

Use the editor and give the Jap subs three points of armour. It balances out the over-kill. They still get attacked by many DC, but just less than half penetrate and do serious damage. I really like that, that would also simulate the multiple DC drops during sub hunting... and only few actual hits... rather than... one drop = kill, as it happens now. Not sure how DC ammo would come into play though.


ThoseDCs you seedrop are not patterns, they are individual DCs. Because ammo is only expended when ya see the DCs drop, the ammo could be reduced about 50%.Reason? Because the other DDs are supposedly dropping DCs as well.
