Fossiili -> How to make a stream in a deep canyon (12/15/2004 8:32:58 AM)

Pottula is an imaginary town on the model of Tyrnävä locating on The Oulu Plain. The bed rock consists of siltstone and shale, over it are thick layers of sand and finesand. The "Pottula River" (Tyrnävänjoki) meanders from north to south through the layers. It runs in a canyon 10-15 meters deep, the riversides are steep, difficult to climb. On June the water lewell is usually so low, that you can wade over the stream in most places. For tanks the canion is an obstacle. How to prepare a stream like that in SPWAW map? The editor does not allow me to put cliffs on the streamsides. A stream can flow through rough terrain but that is not enough. The only solution I have found is to put boulders on the west side of the Pottula River! The problem is, that there are nothing like that in the real Tyrnävä, which I hope to model.
