YOUR ORDERS: "Colonel, you are relieving an officer who has proven himself unfit for combat command. He waited to secure the beach head when he should have moved inland immediately on learning the landing was unopposed. Now the damn Norwegians have had nearly 24 hours to rally a defense and call up reinforcements. Remember that many of their troops are veterans of service with us, and the country has been purchasing modern weapons. We should have hit them in 1940, but that wasn't my decision to make. We'll just have to make the best of it. Attack and destroy the defenders. This is the headquarters of their military district, so expect them to put up a strong fight. Good luck, we'll give you what help we can."*

PLAYER NOTES: This is a hypothetical scenario set an an alternate universe. Britian declared herself neutral after Dunkirk, the US never entered the European war, and Germany was free to subdue North Africa and Russia. Now their attention has turned to Norway as their next conquest. As the scenario opens the initial beach head is already established. Your reinforcements represent subsequent landings.
