String -> LCU question (1/3/2005 7:26:05 PM)

Can a LCU retreat to a hex which is controlled by both sides?

For example : Wuchow is surrounded from all sides but one, that hex is controlled by both sides (both chinese and japs have units there) If i were to attack wuchow right now would the units there surrender or would they retreat to the hex controlled by both sides?

2ndACR -> RE: LCU question (1/3/2005 7:27:48 PM)

Nope, the unit can not retreat into a dual controlled hex.

The standard rule for all wargames.

A friendly unit negates an enemy ZOC for the purposes of retreat and for tracing supply. Been like this since about 1975. Guess it got missed in this game.[;)]
