ZonkerHarris -> Indivisible air groups? (1/23/2005 10:24:55 PM)

In my PBEM game with ADavidB (official scenario 15, started with v. 1.40), I can no longer divide any of my larger air groups (see screenshot with missing divide option). Dave tells me he's had the same problem for the last several turns. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

There is a finite limit to how many groups can be divided. Once you reach it, there is no space to store more.

Thanks, Mr.Frag. Can you regain space by reuniting groups, or is this a limited-time-only ability?

NM Frag got it before I could even finish the dang post

Thanks again -- another lesson learned!

What are the magic numbers, please?

There is one total limit of air groups for both IJ and Allied sides combined from what I can see.

That would explain what I'm seeing -- I hardly have any groups divided. My opponent must have divided lots of his.

Frag -

Any chance that the number of available slots can be increased in later patches? Big airgroups and little base forces don't really go well together...[;)]
