1.4, PBEM, playing as Japan, in 2/42.

Transport TFs I form in Osaka are auto-disbanding instead of going where I send them.

Sounds very similar to the many problems people had with San Francisco. I did a quick search and didn't find any previous reports for Osaka, though. They are both auto-convoy hubs, though, so there could be a linkage.

I had thought this problem was fixed (1.30?). Or was it just fixed for SF and maybe an Osaka problem remains?

I'm not using auto-convoy, but I do have China on AI control (both zones), per my PBEM partner's preference. I put it on human control this turn, we'll see if that fixes anything.

Any ideas (other than taking China off AI - I started the game under that ground rule, and so to me it's a last resort to take it off. Although I suppose we could both go human control and just not do anything (very similar to what the AI does in China, by the way :-))

Frag, if you're reading this, would you like a save? I already overwrote my safety save for the given turn but I'm pretty sure I can reproduce this. Or is the answer "We know computer control causes problems, and it's not likely to get fixed. Stop using it!" ?

No save needed, it's the old Computer control coming back and stealing your ships deal. One of those priority things, there is always something more important on the list to fix first and most folks simply never use it.

It's exactly the same problem that San Fransisco has with AK/TK being reallocated.

OK, thanks. Sounds like the only viable solution is no computer control.

You can work around it by using a different port instead of Oska.

Oh, good point. (slaps self on forehead).

Of course, I first need to get everything out. But that would only take a turn.
