When using the new utility showing control zones, that allows players to check enemy moves in the first turns of the game because control zones are shown only for hexes when an unit moves in at least once.

That allows the Japanese to know where Chinese troops are gathering for example. Or at least the Chinese cities that were never reinforced.

Would it possible to have the whole map allready having a control zone (A or J) at the start of the game ?

He has a point. The ghost ZoCs do make a path.

It does leave a path, but after a few weeks you'll have no idea what is where. Consider it limited intelligence early on. [;)]

Yes but it seems easy to fix to me. And it will still show you any unusual move by your opponent.

Giving control of each land hex at the start of the game will also assure that British units surrounded in Tavoy, for example, will not retreat to Thai jungle.
