Playing version 1.4. About one third of the time when exiting the save game screen, crashes to desktop. Occurs whether I use the button or escape Key

Been there done that.....most have discovered that if you count to 10 after the save completed before you exit you will significantly reduce the CTD. Hope this helps you.

If it is any consolation, it is relatively harmless because you just saved and can restart and reload that.

But:

Do not enter the save screen, think of one last thing you want to do, and exit without saving. Because if you do you may still crash and NOT have your work saved.

Always Always save once you enter that Save Game screen.
