Hello all, Has anyone come across this bug - when transferring Dauntless dive bombers to carriers, a new Havoc unit appears which has no aircraft or pilots but cannot be transferred to another base or ship? This seems to mean that the number of groups which can be carried on a CV is then limited by this phantom squadron. Also at the same time this happened all my CVs in a TF went to zero operations points and lose them all immediately they put to sea. I have tried disbanding the TF, creating again and refueling, but they go back to zero again. This is in a PBEM game so effectively means I may have no carrier force if it continues! Mike

Hello Mike , I've had this happen a number of times . While not foolproof if you're moving planes on and off carriers i've found it best to have both ships at the same port and to first transfer the a/c to the base , then to the ship . You can do both in the same turn . You can even load sbd's onto your cv's when they're disbanded and in port . Can't do that with tbf's - not sure about f4f's . If you have a cv with that phantom squadron try loading the sbd squadron it's associated with back on to the cv and then transfer it to the base rather than straight to another cv .
