reddogfive -> Can't see all of screen in game How do I set? (4/2/2005 5:04:31 PM)

I run SPWAW in XP PRO.

I have an ATI ALl in Wonder 9800 series graphics card.

I set my resolution on my desktop to 800 x 600.

60 mghz

I still can't get the game to resize on my monitor?!?

Why doesn't the game resize to fit on screen?

Is there a setting I have to change in game? I can't find it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Cheers, Reddog

Hey reddog,I had what i think might be the same problem, I have a Nvidia 4200 vid crd so this may be no help. but anyway when the game rang up at first the screen was slid over so far that the buttons were unusable and even the monitor controls would'nt move it over enough to operate. It wasn't the drivers, it wasn't my vidio card, Its the bloody monitor refresh rates!!! mine gets upset and horribly finicky on SPWAW with any more than 70Mhz, playing Battlefield Veitnam I got to turn it up to 80-85. my whole theory will work differantly on your machine but give the refresh rates on the monitor down , I don't think the game needs what your probably set at. Keep postin RT

Thanks for the reply.

I tried turning refresh rates as low as i could and still having the same problem.

I don't know if its the monitor or the ati all in wonder 9800 pro or what!?!

I fiddled with resizing and other settings in the graphics card software but no luck...

I am stumped!

Oh well, maybe someone who has an ATI card and reads this will give me some help.

Cheers, Reddog

Updated drivers for the ATI and fiddled with th refresh rates on my monitor but still no luck. Any ATi Radeon users out there with XP have a solution?

Cheer, Reddog
