you can set the volume of those loud afvs to a more easy to listen leveal by going into start prog/accessories/entertianment/sound recorder.then you just find the steel waw snd folder and change away click reduce sound etc.BUT i need some help has any one got the wave numbers for all of the afvs or the most loud ones as its a time consuming process to check each one many thanks.

Forgive me (Jon(?)) who sent this to me, I can,t remember your name! Six ------------------------ SOUND EFFECTS MAP The sound effects listed on the right are associated with the sounds to their left. In the case of a spread, such as 12-15, the specific sound to be played is randomly chosen. The program expects all listed files and the absence of any could result in no sound for that effect. // These are the filenames -- "1.wav", "2.wav", etc // 1-996 Weapon and movement sound effects // LOL a little paste and copy go's a long way I btw lowered by 2 clicks(so to speak) the volume on half-tracks and trucks. But this is all temporary(I saved the original wav's ya see) I hope with ver 2 otw! Six

Haha, well I suppose my name is easy enough to forget. The new halftrack .wavs that will be with the patch were sampled from an actual halftrack. I tried to tone it down a bit, but still have it loud enough so that it is easily recognizable...
