wobbly -> Sasebo air factory not increasing capability (4/17/2005 4:44:52 AM)

I have 2 lots of zero AGM3s being updated here but they wont increase in capacity. Sasebo's supplies ARE low - but isn't it on a rail line and should gain enough suppleis to accommodate this aircraft upgrade requirement?

What about the base where the HQ is? Plenty of supply?

Nice banner by the way...[8D]

Are you talking about factories? To repair factories, you need 10K supplies, and no, they won't automatically move for this. Options include: 1) Parking Home Defense HQ on Sasebo, that will pull extra supplies. 2) Make sure there are enough LCUs to make the base "want" >10K, or 3) Just transport some supply there.

That makes NO sense. Since the game will move supplies about for every OTHER reason, what your saying is that you only get to upgrade if you have 10k supply there AND the game doesnt decide ( before the repair phase) to move those supplies somewhere else for some other reason.

I've learnt the hard way not to count os Sasebo Industrial Capabilities: You just never get 10k Supplies there!

Man, but that is the truth![:(]
I have been moving supply, resources and oil directly to Sasebo for will over a year now (game time is now October 1943), and the stuff just dissapears. I seldom can keep the supplys at Sasebo over 3000, much less 10,000 plus. [X(]
I have unloaded 5, 7000 point AK's at once at Sasebo many times, and the best I get is around 8,000 supply for one turn, then it is back to 1800 or so.[8|]
Like just where is all this stuff going?[&:]
Regards, Gregg

it gets sucked away by the other bases. it is a real pain because you have no control over it and how your factories are supplied.... [:(]

Gregg -> RE: Sasebo air factory not increasing capability (4/17/2005 8:22:30 PM)

But, I'm also directly supplying the other two bases on the island.[:(]
The amounts at all three bases on the ialand never add up to even half what I send there.[&:]
There must be a supply black hole located on that island.[:'(]

I noticed this. It happens not only for Sasebo. I declared the war on USSR and captured Okha with a lot of oil and resources. I created 2 transport convoys (70000 each) to transport oil from Okha to Sapporo. After few trips the oil stored in Sapporo is 1239. On entire island the total amount is about 1400. Where did the almost 200000 oil go? There is no direct road connection with the other islands. Sapporo has port level 8. Strange thing is that resources are accumulating - now I have almost 250000.

PS
As for sasebo - currently I have 70000 supplies and over 500000 oil. So this base works fine for me.

Japanese will transport oil and resources over one hex of water. Simulates the missing little ships the japanese had.
