sadja -> Read the manual: (No arrows on ship availibly, ground reinforcements, air reinforcements) (4/28/2005 6:40:22 PM)

This is only occurring on PBEM set up, hth and allied computer shows them. I have tried with everything turned on except historical 1st turn and what I want to play, vary set, historical 1st turn, all bases upgrade, accept reinforcements sub doctrine turned off.[&:][&:][:(][:(]

I downloaded the exectue file only not the zipped one, the only adjustments to my 1.4 was I changed plane art.

I have only tried sc15 so far.

Thanks in advance for any help.[&o][&o]

Normal on turn one if the reinforcements are changed ( +or- 15 days etc ..) or maybe self if not changed [;)]

This was a cheat/exploit from UV days.
The IJN could restart the game until a favorable result happened.

Yeah, but navigation is allowed it's a tech thing you know and NICE. [:)]

sadja -> RE: No arrows on ship availibly, ground reinforcements, air reinforcements (4/28/2005 11:46:33 PM)

I will generally ask directions, but I navigate really well. I just hate to waste time looking for something in a store or place when the person working or living there can tell me in about 10secs

I have read the manual a bunch just didn't go all the way back to the start.

Thanks Again

No need for map reading in cars anymore -- with GPS, you get a very civilized lady telling you to "make a U-turn at the earliest convenience"....

Yes, it always puzzled me why car makers thought a compass would do the trick. If somebody can't read a map, a compass is only gonna compound their problems....[;)]

BTW, you don't need a fancy 'in dash' GPS, a relatively cheap portable will still do the trick, although you might not get so suave a voice-over! Personally, I wish they had a New York Taxi Driver voice-over option -- I'd feel much more at home with those remonstrances ("hey Hey HEY ya stupid Okie, ya missed ya tourn. Why'd ya buy me in da foist place if ya wasn't gonna liss'n to me? Jeez, da peoples I gotta put up wit!).

I dunno - i find the compass extremely useful, particularly on the numerous poorly marked roads round these parts. I get on the road, on a rainy night trying to find a new address after meandering around twisty roads. I know the roads runs say E-W, and i want to go west. With the compass i might save myself a lot of time and aggravation knowing which way to turn.

Even better is go far enough and she starts to agree with you on the route and just reminds you of things coming up. (Like exit 2 miles ahead...)

Perhaps the best part is at times my wife hates (ie. does not agree with) the route advice the system puts out. [:D]

The advanced models remind of your wife's birthday coming up...

The really advanced models will criticize the clothes you are wearing!![:'(]

You are already more advanced than most drivers -- you know which roads run E-W....[;)]
