Djordje -> Fuchida? (5/1/2005 9:58:20 PM)

Why is the man that led real life PH attack now described as patrol leader?
Does it influence pilots under his command, or is it only his air rating that matters (talking about air to air combat)? If it is only about air rating, he can be described as jester leader for all that I care...
Btw, in Tora Tora Tora he is flying B5N Kate, and in previous patches he was described as fighter leader...

One other thing: I have picture that is showing him as patrol leader, but cannot upload it! In the past I've been able to do it without problems, so what is going on now, is it my stupid Maxthon, or new forum software, or my gremlins are on the lose again...?

Oh look, the picture is there, it is just preview that is not showing it... [:)]

Nobody knows?
Ok, another question: What is this guy doing in my SUBMARINE captain pool?
And before anybody cries LEADER BUG I have to say that I've checked it, it is not a bug, he is in all scen 15 games...
Looks to me it's just an OOB error, but I have to ask anyway.

He's best for commanding a sub with recon planes[:D] Looks like more work to be done. But i wonder if that existed in 1.4?

I had a dream that Pry was reading all this and was making changes for 1.6 patch... [:)]

There is no SUB leader pool as such.

A leader is classed as being able command a TF, HQ, ship, air unit or ground unit. A submarine is treated as a ship in this case.

Often the same leader (depends on rank) will show in a SUB list saying "good to command a submarine". And then you can call up a surface naval unit list and get the same fellow as "good to command a ship".

Well, to be precise he was flying as observer/spotter (between pilot and wireless operator/gunner).

Are you sure about this? If this is correct, why are all the captains rated as submarine commanders when you try to replace a sub captain, and there are none such captains (submarine) when you replace DD captain?
What would be the criteria that filters which leaders are shown and which are hidden?
If you try to replace barge captain, you will only see a few leaders, with rank of Ensign (ENS). That leads me to the conclusion that there is a barge leader pool too...
