Stvitus2002 -> RE: Name this...(370) (5/20/2005 12:09:37 PM)

Soviet copy of our B-29. Can't remember it's name.

Terminus -> RE: Name this...(370) (5/20/2005 12:10:52 PM)

I seem to remember it's called the Tu-4.

testarossa -> RE: Name this...(370) (5/20/2005 6:58:30 PM)

I will try harder next time. [:D] Background leaves no doubts.

That, and the big, fat, red "01" on the fuselage.

Brady -> RE: Name this...(370) (5/21/2005 7:36:21 AM)

testarossa, if you could use another name for thread, I would realy appricate it, I store the images in a folder and their ushaly done a week in advance, and I like to keep track of how many I have done[:)], so if you could find another name for your thrad(s) on this subject that would be cool indead[:)]

pasternakski -> RE: Name this...(370) (5/21/2005 7:55:42 AM)

Yeah, you know, Brady holds the franchise rights to posting images in order to say, "See, I know something you don't because I found this somewhere, and if you can't identify it you're an idiot and I'm wonderful, and I'm the only one who can do this and I have a numbering system, so this is my forum not yours."

Well, I did it on purpose, as a gag. I saw #369 and thought- wow, this is getting serious. Rainerle figured it out right away BTW.

jcjordan -> RE: Name this...(370) (5/23/2005 12:59:48 AM)

Well Brady maybe if you hired the music industry lawyers, you could start to get some money out of all the infringements to your intellectual properties but then again we'd have to start paying $1/view or $19.95/mo to be a member [:D]

tsimmonds -> RE: Name this...(370) (5/23/2005 3:06:51 AM)

OTOH, it doesn't cost much to respect Brady's "trademark" out of common courtesy. As he is up to #370, that tells you he has been doing it for awhile....

jcjordan -> RE: Name this...(370) (5/23/2005 6:12:48 AM)

Just a little Napster humor, no offense to Brady meant. I do like what he's doing but miss out most of the time due to schedule I work.

m10bob -> RE: Name this...(370) (5/23/2005 3:17:31 PM)

I'm with Brady on this.He has something POSITIVE to contribute to the forum,and not just a bunch of very tired negative remarks.It's not a matter of him trying to look "smarter" than everybody else,it's the fact he has been freely giving of his time to locate interesting pics for the rest of us to identify.Most of the participating forum members have been grateful,and participated in the challenge......
He did not say he had a "copyright" to the name of the thread,(though he might since "370" DOES show some consistency).He DID however explain he has numbered items in advance for future challenges..Consider this....
It does not seem such a big thing to name similar threads something else,(kind of like 2 "Johnny Carson" shows on at the same time,ya' know?)
For the record,go thru the forums and find even one time Brady has ever trashed anybody......Ever.......
