Mike Wood -> RE: Number of Mines in Hex (6/1/2005 5:42:29 AM)

Hello... Not infinite. 35,535 mine limit in each hex. Assuming hex has 1000 mines, first sweep reduces to 500, second to 250, third to 250, fourth to 125 and so forth. Not cost effective to overload hex with mines. More effective to place in surrounding hexes. Hope this helps... Michael Wood quote:
ORIGINAL: jeffs One problem is it seems some hexes have infinite mines. If the IJN puts it`s nasty MLs together and unloads them at the same hex 2 or 3 times there is an ungodly number of mines there.[:@]
