I've read a number of historical accounts describing the airdropping of supplies to ground units during the advance from Port Moresby to Buna. Is it possible to do this in game terms? I experimented with this a bit using C-47's set to a supply mission, but when I tried to set the target to a ground unit not in a base, I seem to recall getting a message saying that you must target a base.

Anyone have any comments?

You can resupply units in a specific an hex in WITP, but in UV only a base can be resupplied. Makes sense though, very hard to resupply units in a jungle by air. Other terrain was not as bad.
